WalkLeague — Official Challenge Rules

Last updated: July 29, 2026

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

These challenges are run by Tai Zaken, 4381 San Blas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 91364 (the “Sponsor”). Prizes may be provided by third-party brand sponsors, identified within the App for each challenge. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, any challenge.

2. Eligibility

Open worldwide to individuals who are 18 years or older (or the age of majority where they live, whichever is greater) at the time of entry, except where prohibited or restricted by law.

Excluded U.S. states. Cash challenges are not available to residents of Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Tennessee. The App collects your country and, for U.S. residents, your state, and will restrict entry accordingly.

It is your responsibility to ensure that participating is lawful where you live. Availability may also depend on the countries in which the App is offered on the App Store. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

3. Challenge period

Each challenge runs for the period stated in the App (e.g., a one-week cycle). Entry closes at the time shown in the App before each challenge begins. No entries are accepted after a challenge has started.

4. How to enter

Requiring a paid subscription is never the only way to enter a prize challenge — the free method above always remains available.

5. How winners are determined (skill-based)

Winning is based on skill and effort, not chance. The winner of each challenge group is the entrant with the highest WalkLeague score at the end of the challenge period, calculated from verified activity (steps, daily Yes/No predictions, interval sessions, the Power Walk bonus, and streak bonuses) as described in the App. Ties are broken by the highest exact score, and if still tied, whichever entrant reached that score first. Activity is measured via Apple Health; Sponsor may disqualify entries it reasonably believes are fraudulent or manipulated.

6. Prizes

Prizes for each challenge are described in the App (for example, brand-sponsored cash or products), including their approximate retail value. Odds of winning depend on the number and performance of entrants. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged except at Sponsor’s discretion.

7. Winner notification & prize delivery

Winners will be notified in the App and/or by email. To claim a prize you may be required to verify eligibility and complete any required forms. For cash prizes, winners are responsible for all taxes, and U.S. winners receiving $600 or more in a year may be issued a Form 1099. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited after 14 days.

8. Publicity

Except where prohibited, accepting a prize permits Sponsor to use the winner’s first name and city for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

9. General conditions

Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel a challenge if fraud, technical failures, or other factors compromise its integrity. Sponsor’s decisions are final on all matters relating to the challenges.

10. Limitation of liability

By entering, participants agree to release Sponsor and prize providers from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law & dispute resolution

These rules, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to any challenge, are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections under the law of the country or state where you live.

Informal resolution first. Most concerns can be resolved quickly. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to email taizaken72@gmail.com describing the dispute and to allow 30 days for the Sponsor to resolve it in good faith.

Binding individual arbitration. If a dispute is not resolved informally, you and the Sponsor agree it will be settled by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court — except that either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction. The arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California, or, at your choice, by phone, by video, or on written submissions only. The arbitrator's decision may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.

Class-action & jury-trial waiver. All claims must be brought only in your or the Sponsor's individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims or preside over any class or representative proceeding. You and the Sponsor each waive the right to a jury trial.

30-day right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these rules by emailing taizaken72@gmail.com with your name and a statement that you want to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these rules.

Exceptions & severability. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, only that claim will be severed and heard in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California; the rest of this section still applies. Where local law does not permit certain of these terms, they apply only to the fullest extent allowed by law.
